IN-FLIGHT VIBRATION-BASED STRUCTURAL HEALTH MONITORING OF AIRCRAFT WINGS

A novel vibration-based SHM methodology is introduced. The approach is based on fully automaticrnoperational modal analysis, factor analysis and anomaly detection and localisation. Special emphasisrnis placed on the use of fiber Bragg grating sensing technology and the consideration of operationalrnand environmental variability.
