AUGMENTED POLYNOMIAL GUIDANCE FOR TERMINAL VELOCITY CONSTRAINTS

This paper proposes an impact angle and terminal velocity control guidance law. The guidance law consists of two parts; polynomial guidance term for impact angle, and bias guidance command for terminal velocity control. The polynomial guidance can lead the vehicle to the target position in specific direction, and the augmented guidance command can adjust the terminal velocity without disturbing the basic polynomial guidance. The bias guidance command should be decided numerically in proper time. Computer simulations are conducted to show applicability of the proposed guidance law.
