The focus of this work is the development of a manufacturing methodology of thick composite laminated components for aeronautical applications. The following points were accomplished: lug conception, mold design and component manufacturing. Lug conception was accomplished by numerical analysis used to determine the thickness and geometry under a load condition for a specific structural application
