EXTENDED VALIDATION OF A TRANSONIC LATTICEBOLTZMANN METHOD ON THE EXAMPLE OF THE NASA COMMON RESEARCH MODEL

A transonic Lattice-Boltzmann method has been developed as an alternative to current Navier-Stokes based CFD tools. The validation of that method is presented here, focusing on the NASA Common Research model. Measured wing twist distributions and the sting support are taken into account in the simulations to achieve good agreement the experiments.
