Air traffic today needs to adapt to atmospheric conditions to be able to operationally mitigate the effects of air traffic emissions on one hand, and to ensure safe operations on the other hand. This study provides considerations how to integrate atmospheric disruptive events and climatological objectives of different scales in the context of trajectory design.
