An approach for a multidisciplinary design optimisation problem containing vibro-acoustic behaviour and manufacturing effort is presented. Vibro-acoustic behaviour is modelled via structure-acoustic finite element models (low frequency range) and statistical energy analysis (high frequency noise). For manufacturing aspects surrogate models based on qualitative and verbal statements of specialists are integrated.
