The difficulties in the aerodynamic design of tailless configuration are discussed. Based on the analysis of airfoils, which have the same 16% relative thickness, this paper presents the usage of airfoil compromise design to improve pitching moment performance of tailless static stable aircraft, and the discussion of problems might involved.
