EVALUATION OF TRANSONIC BUFFETING ONSET BOUNDARY ESTIMATED BY TRAILING EDGE PRESSURE DIVERGENCE AND RMS DATA OF WING VIBRATION

An evaluation of the transonic buffeting onset boundary estimated by trailing edge pressure and RMS data of wing root strain is presented. The results obtained with the trailing edge pressure and wing vibration data of a swept wing aircraft wind tunnel test results are compared to steady aerodynamics coefficients methodologies that were already evaluated with flight test results.
