Tensegrity-membrane structures are light structures formed by bars as well as tensioned cables and membranes. The deployment feature present in these structures, allow the design of antennas for satellites that can be launched in the stowed mode and then be deployed at outer space. The finite element method is used for the deployed configuration and then validated by experimental modal analysis.
