BROADBAND TRAILING-EDGE NOISE: A STATUS REPORT ON CURRENT PREDICTION CAPABILITIES

Since 2010, AIAA and CEAS have organized an ongoing series of workshops dedicated to benchmark problems for airframe noise computations (BANC). The BANC workshops are aimed at enabling a systematic progress in the understanding, measurement and prediction of airframe noise. The current submission provides a review of BANC category 1 activities, focusing on broadband turbulent boundary-layer trailing-edge noise.
