NUMERICAL SIMULATION OF FLOW SEPARATION CONTROL OVER A HUMP USING DBD PLASMA ACTUATOR

A. Jahangirianš, R. Khoshkhooš; šAmirkabir University of Technology, Iran

A numerical simulation method is employed to investigate the effect of the steady and unsteady plasma body forces on the flow field over a hump model. It is shown that all turbulence models do a reasonable prediction for the overall features of the flow field and the DBD employment has significant effects on turbulent flow separation control over the hump.
