BEARING STRENGTH ASSESSMENT OF COMPOSITE MATERIAL THROUGH NUMERICAL MODELS

Aiming to achieve a value of bearing strength that can be applied in a simple design, numerical methods will be employed to preview this strength of composite materials as a tool to contour the lack of experimental data. A set of simulations employing failure criteria will be employed, starting from simple to complex models to obtain the bearing strength of the laminate.
