LINKING TECHNOLOGY READINESS TO UNCERTAINTY REDUCTION

It is important that the readiness of a technology and the performance capabilities it provides can be properly assessed to aid risk-informed decision making. TRL is the figure of merit for technology readiness but the question of how to validate TRL graduation arises. Therefore, the objective of this paper is to explore the relationship between the TRL readiness metric and uncertainty reduction.
