This paper sets out an investigation of how to explore and select potential aircraft for non-traditional civil aviation markets. Using the middle of the market as the key example, a Value Driven Design approach will outline the different needs of specific types of customers along with the effects of leasing options, managed services and commonality with other aircraft types.
