MULTIDISCIPLINARY DESIGN CHAIN FOR MODEL ROTOR BLADES

This paper presents a rotor blade design chain with multidisciplinary approach resulting in a full 3D-CAD model of the geometry and a complete dynamic description of the rotor blade. The design chain is shown, using the example of a model rotor blade with a modern geometry, built for research on advanced multiple swash-plate concepts. Focus lays on the structural characterization part.
