THE ROUGHNESS POSITION INFLUENCE ON LAMINAR AEROFOIL AERODYNAMIC CHARACTERISTIC IN TRANSONIC FLOW REGIME

The roughness strip application on laminar aerofoil could improve aerofoil aerodynamic characteristic in transonic flow regime at higher angles of incidence. Additionally the shock wave oscillation is decreased due to turbulent boundary layer shock wave interaction, when applying transitions triggers.
