NON-INTRUSIVE UNSTEADY PSP TECHNIQUE FOR INVESTIGATION OF TRANSONIC BUFFETING

Y. Sugiokaš, K. Nakakita, JAXA, Japan; K. Asaiš; šTohoku Univ., Japan

To investigate unsteady pressure distributions related to transonic buffeting, a new polymer/ceramic pressure-sensitive paint (PC-PSP) was developed and applied to an airfoil and a generic transport model. From the obtained data, time-resolved pressure distributions were successfully measured with high spatiotemporal resolution.
