WIND VELOCITY ESTIMATION WITHOUT AN AIR SPEED SENSOR USING KALMAN FILTER UNDER THE COLORED MEASUREMENT NOISE

In this paper, we use the Tikhonv Kalman filter for wind estimation algorithm and additional adaptation rule. Because the time constant and white Gaussian variance is unknown and changes depending on the trajectory, parameter adaption of colored noise is developed additionally. Some numerical simulations are performed to compare the proposed algorithm to the result of the standard Kalman filter.
