FLIGHT DYNAMIC STABILITY ANALYSIS OF A FLEXIBLE FLYING WING

L. Wang, China; C. Tang, China

A method for flight dynamic stability analysis of flexible aircraft is developed, by considering the rigid-body and elastic degrees of freedom. The unsteady aerodynamics is computed by doublet lattice method and rational function approximation. The linear state-space model is established based on the small disturbance theory, and the stability characteristics is solved by eigenvalue analysis.
