An approach using steady state measurements to cater aerodynamic derivatives for an aircraft are no longer adequate at transient case especially for unconventional aircraft configurations. Since at this condition, aerodynamic derivatives have been dependent on frequency and amplitude of oscillation. Hence, this paper will describe and evaluate the effect of an accurate aerodynamic derivatives applied to V-Tail aircraft configuration for the aircraft flight dynamic by comparison between methods such as the USAF-DATCOM (known as: Semi-empirical), static wind tunnel and dynamic wind tunnel test.
