S. Cresto Aleina¹, R. Fusaro¹, N. Viola¹; ¹Politecnico di Torino, Italy

The aim of this paper is to define the optimal solution for ground infrastructures for Unmanned Aerial Systems in terms of flight control monitoring. Primary Surveillance Radar (PSR) technologies as well as Secondary Surveillance Radar (SSR) and ADS-B technologies have been considered. The software used for simulations is AGI’s STK®. Advantages for civil ATM have been analysed too.
