A CONCEPTUAL DESIGN PLATFORM FOR BLENDED-WING-BODY TRANSPORTS

A BWB conceptual design platform is constructed to find the optimum planform with best performance and minimum take-off weight. It is an integration process to insure proper coupling of aerodynamics structure, balance, stability and control disciplines. Physically-based weight and aerodynamic methods is validated. Sensitivity analysis of the planform parameters is provided.
