CABIN ESCAPE SYSTEM: A WAY TO ENSURE CREW SAFETY DURING SUBORBITAL FLIGHTS

The paper addresses a possible way to ensure a higher level of safety of the participants of parabolic flights, for both tourism and science. A typical system engineering approach has been used to derive possible alternatives to reach the goal. At the end, trade-off analyses allowed to select a cabin escape system as the optimal solution for a spacecraft performing parabolic flights.
