REDUCED ORDER MODELING OF AVIATION ENVIRONMENTAL DESIGN TOOL WITH PROPER ORTHOGONAL DECOMPOSITION AND KRIGING

This research utilizes probabilistic principal component analysis to extract a basis from incomplete data. Variation in basis coefficients due to input change is estimated on a reduced space by ordinary Kriging interpolation. The proposed formulation of model order reduction is illustrated with the numerical propulsion system simulation, which occasionally produces absent outputs.
