Studies on shockwave-boundary-layer interaction have been conducted, aimed at elimination of unfavourable effects of application of Natural-Laminar-Flow technology in design of transonic wing. The methodology assumes tripping of laminar boundary layer by the system of micro-vanes located ahead of the shockwave. Optimisation of dimensions and positions of micro-vanes was one of goals of the study.
