Development, integration and testing of a low-cost electronic flight control system for subscale research aircraft with relaxed static stability. Stability and control system performance were investigated through flight-testing simplified free-flying models in various configurations. Different control objectives, flight control laws and multi-surface control allocation techniques were evaluated.
