OPTIMIZATION OF THE TRAJECTORY AND ACCUMULATOR MASS FOR THE SOLAR-POWERED AIRPLANE

Problem of optimal control for the aircraft with the electric powerplant and solar cells is investigated. The cases of some restrictions on aircraft energy storage and peculiarities of its charge and discharge are analyzed. Optimal trajectories were obtained. The investigation of the accumulator mass influence on the performance of the aircraft and on the trajectory has been conducted.
