EFFECTS OF THE BOUNDARY LAYER TRANSITION ON THE GLOBAL AERODYNAMIC COEFFICIENTS

The paper presents numerical simulations performed over the trapezoidal wing, which is a high-lift configuration. The numerical simulations are performed with the CFD++ solver considering the RANS equations with the Langtry-Menter transition model. All simulations consider a hexahedral mesh approach. Results are compared with those from other turbulence models and from other transition models.
