A GENERALISATION OF THE MATHEMATICAL MODEL OF INTERNAL WIND TUNNEL BALANCES

The multitude of balance designs, forms of the calibration matrix and conventions for axes systems are obstacles when a new balance type is deployed or calibration data is imported that originated from another laboratory. Therefore, the concept of a generic wind tunnel balance was developed, asserting that all balance types are to be described in the same way and processed by a single algorithm
