PRECISION LANDING BASED ON ATMOSPHERIC DISTURBANCE MONITORING AND MODEL PREDICTIVE CONTROL

The goal of this paper is to simulate and evaluate a new MPC based precision landing method, assisted by LIDAR measurements of the atmospheric disturbances in front of the aircraft. Details of the control system and an analysis of the influence of the limitations of the LIDAR measurements are given.
