OPTIMAL SEQUENCING IN ATM COMBINING GENETIC ALGORITHMS AND GRADIENT BASED METHODS TO A BILEVEL APPROACH

A method for solving an optimal sequencing problem is presented for non-compliant aircraft that are operated to minimize their individual cost instead of a global. The problem is decomposed and solved using a bilevel approach combining genetic algorithms and collocation methods. Respecting regulations and constraints and using efficient algorithms the method is applicable to realistic problems.
