THE FOAMING PROPERTIES OF LUBRICATING OILS FOR AIRCRAFT GAS TURBINE ENGINES

Effect of aviation oils foaming on it performance characteristics is analyzed. It is shown the influence of airflow rate and temperature on aviation oils foaming. Two foaming modes were found. Corrections to standard method for determination of the foaming properties of aviation oils GOST 21058-75 are developed.
