A CONCEPTUAL ANALYSIS OF AN AIRCRAFT WITH REAR-MOUNTED OPEN ROTOR ENGINES

This article proposes a conceptual model of aircraft with rear-mounted open rotor engines? illustrated the influence to aircraft configuration and the typical range due to the replacement from turbine fan engines to open-rotor engines, introduces an actuator disk model for the propeller simulation, focuses on the analysis of aerodynamic characteristics and the acoustic effect.
