This paper presents a study of the aerodynamic sensitivity of a classical Caret style waverider to leading edge rounding. Experiments and computational fluid dynamics have been employed to assess the effect on a Mach 8.2 waverider, and hasrndemonstrated that a significant loss of aerodynamic efficiency results from even the smallest level of leading edge rounding.
