02.1 - Aerodynamics - CFD Methods and ValidationCOMPUTATIONAL EFFICIENCY AND QUALITY OF DIFFERENT VERSIONS OF DISCONTINUOUS GALERKIN METHOD FOR LES/DES APPLICATIONSI. Bosnyakovš, A.I. Troshinš, V.V. Vlasenkoš, A.V. Wolkovš; šTsAGI, Russia Implicit dual-time stepping high-order Discontinuous Galerkin (DG) method for LES/DES applications is considered. Four different approximations of time derivative are compared. 4th order calculations on the basis of Smagorinsky model are compared with 2nd order Integrated LES calculations. Steady and unsteady wall functions for LES are proposed. Computational efficiency and physical quality of results are compared.rn |
