NONLINEAR MODEL IDENTIFICATION OF A SMALL-SCALE UNMANNED ROTORCRAFT

The paper presents a nonlinear dynamic model of a small-scale helicopter and the activities carried out for the parameters identification. The simulation model has been developed in Matlab/Simulink environment by minimising the number of parameters to be evaluated via time-domain identification. Satisfactory matching between simulation predictions and experimental data has been obtained.
