SYNTHESIZED ANALYSIS FROM DESIGN RANGE TO THE CONCETUAL DESIGN OF WIDEBODY AIRLINER

Based on the controversy of short range wide-body airliner,this article proposes an integrated approach to model and optimize wide-body aircraft. With this approach six 300 seats wide-body aircrafts under range from 6000km to 15000km were built to illustrate the combined impact from design range to conceptual design, finally to conclude the benefit and losses due to range variation.
