EFFICIENT AERODYNAMIC OPTIMIZATION USING HIERARCHICAL KRIGING COMBINED WITH GRADIENT

A new method to combine gradients with Hierarchical Kriging Model is developed in this paper. The new method has overcome limitations of traditional gradient-based Kriging model, and the prediction accuracy of the model can be improved by less samples and gradient.Hierarchical Kriging enhanced the optimization efficiency, and can get a better result, compared with ordinary Kriging model and gradient-based Kriging model.
