CVGK, the GK method with the Callisto boundary-layer-code, is validated for 25°-swept wings at high-subsonic-speeds with drag errors of one count. Shock control schemes are then shown to become less attractive when aerofoil-type aft-pressure-recovery is considered. Conversely separation-control devices can reduce the form drag developed over this aft-pressure-recovery region.
