This research explores the feasibility and assesses the added value of using Multi-Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) techniques in aircraft design. A new optimization framework incorporating MCDM in aircraft conceptual design process is established. The proposed framework will be applied to the design of a 150-passenger aircraft as proof of concept.
