Keywords: pulsed jet, acoustic synthetic jet, turblulent boundary layer
A comparative experimental study is presented assessing the ability of steady and pulsed air jet vortex generators, and acoustic synthetic jets to promote the development of effective turbulent structures within a low speed, zero pressure gradient, turbulent boundary layer, of the type known to be effective for turbulent separation control.
