Successful scramjet operation requires robust optimal design immune to inherent uncertainties introduced during manufacture and operation. This paper discusses the results of an evolutionary multi-objective robust design optimization for the performance and stability of axisymmetric scramjets and investigates the characteristics of solutions that are robust against perturbations in design parameters.
