This paper presents results from a human-in-the-loop simulation to assess the effectiveness of trajectory-based advisory tools and procedures designed to help terminal-area air traffic controllers manage arrival spacing while coping with uncertainties and off-nominal events to achieve environmentally efficient arrival flows with sustained high throughput.
