Due to their versatility, able to carry loads in different directions, and in design replacing several joined parts, 3D textile reinforced composites gain in importance. A numerical model simulating the damage behaviour of 3D textile reinforced composites is developed and implemented in ABAQUS. Numerical results are compared to experimental data.
