We evaluated the effectiveness of using Electronic Flight Bags (EFBs) to provide advanced traffic and weather displays on the flight deck. Scanpath data of a pilot participant showed expected crosschecking when weather information was displayed separately from traffics. How crosschecking may affect operation performance in NextGen airspace will be discussed.
