FUZZY SLIDING MODE CONTROL OF A FLIGHT SIMULATOR MOTION BASE

The purpose of this study is to apply sliding mode control integrated with fuzzy control for a six degree of freedom flight simulator motion base. Fuzzy logic control is included for reducing chattering phenomena. Describing function, dynamic threshold and some maneuvers were used to evaluate the performance of the controllers.
