FLUID-STRUCTURE COUPLING RESEARCH FOR MICRO FLAPPING-WING

A fluid-structure coupling method for Micro Flapping-wing is presented. The aerodynamic forces are calculated by solving Navier-Stokes equations, and the stiffness matrix is measured by experiment. The method can be used to analyze the effect of deformation to the aerodynamic performance of flapping wing with light mass and elastic structure.
