BUCKLING OF FUNCTIONALLY GRADED PLATES (FGP) UNDER SHEAR AND IN-PLANE DIRECTIONAL LOADING

In recent years studies on high performance materials have addressed new materials known as functionally graded materials FGM. Buckling of functionally graded plates is studied in this paper. The total potential function for stability regime is derived, using classical plate theory. Also, in–plane flexibility is considered in buckling analysis.
