This paper describes advances in the development of a multi-physics modeling platform based on coupling existing independent, single-physics, analysis components into a common environment. Theoretical and implementation aspects of the approach are presented. Its capability and versatility is demonstrated with a set of application examples relevant in the aerospace industry.
