The adaptation of a hybrid RANS/LES model for unsteady turbulent flows over complex geometries will be discused in this paper. The hybrid method consists of a blending of the k-epsilon model with the Variational Multiscale approach for LES. We show applications to offshore risers and compressible aerodynamic flows.
